stainglass look without cost or hassle
my good friends at the Arizona Biltmore wanted to give there fine restaurant Frank & Albert s more of a presence on the exterior of the building . here we have x2 illuminated wall signs facing the main entrance and x1 facing the main pool and courtyard. i wanted to give a classical stain-glass look to fit in with the AZB architecture. the dimensional look is created by routing out (black acrylic) the "FRANK& ALBERTS and the boarder line that intersect the colors . translucent vinyl was used for the colored areas to keep the colors true at night.
design for sante healthcare
here are the x2 setups developed from the input of the customer and the surrounding options for the last couple of years i have been collecting images of different materials & images to use in custom full color projects. now with this project and a few others i decided to incorporate the actual materials being used at the actual site . here is the finished product .

a few years back i did a 12 day trip rafting through the grand canyon . never been the same since. since then i have always wanted to get back and experience it from the rim . in the winter . sooo we went up during what was an on coming snow storm. Friday we took the train from Williams az . after spending the evening with the locals. only way to go. got a room at the masiwik lodge in the grand canyon village . Thursday and all Friday was clear and perfect . the canyon was just unbelievable. crazy colors . sat morning the chunks of snow started to stick. by sat. am ... well take a look for yourself . at one point the was a large group of girls from china that came on Saturday . come all that way to see a bowl of white seems a little unfair. the drive home on Sunday was a little sketchy for the woman . they closed roads . had to sneak onto the freeway to get home

good client of mine named don enamark . this his third property i have work on . property is called
9th st lofts. this is don x2nd foreclosed property /complex he has picked up . the areas are ablut as run down as it gets . then all the sudden there is this brand new 40 unit community . it's like a time warp thing.
anyway . simple project . customer needs : entrance sign . 4'x4'. existing post in the ground .
here is my final design . dibond material .(baked enamel aluminum) with premium x2 color vinyl. ( holds up better than ink.) colors. colors flow with the building paint scheme . sign is in constant sun and may be a good candidate for graffiti. . solution is to build a backup .
don will change out if needed.
